Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: February 16, 2026
1. AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Printability ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our Services.
Our Services include:
- Printability (printability.app) — our web platform for managing accounts, organizations, subscriptions, and print design tools
- Print for Figma — our Figma plugin for print-ready design exports
- Print for Figma Teams — our team-based Figma plugin with shared licensing and organization management
By creating an account, purchasing a license or subscription, or otherwise accessing or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and disclose your information. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services — and feel free to reach out to us at support@printability.app if you have questions or concerns.
If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that organization.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide to us is accurate, complete, and kept up to date.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@printability.app if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
If you create or manage an organization within the Services, you are responsible for the members you invite, the roles you assign, and activity carried out through that organization.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, refuse service, or cancel orders where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
3. LICENSES AND SEATS
When you purchase a plan or subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the applicable Services for your own work or the work of your team or business, for the duration of your plan and subject to these Terms.
Licenses and license keys are for you and your organization only. You may not sell, resell, rent, sublicense, share outside your organization, or otherwise redistribute a license, license key, or seat activation. For seat-based plans such as Print for Figma Teams, each seat is intended for use by a single team member; access to plugin features is governed by your subscription status and available seats.
We may deactivate license keys or seat activations that we reasonably believe are being shared, resold, or otherwise misused.
4. PURCHASES, SUBSCRIPTIONS, AND BILLING
Payment processing. We use third-party payment processors and do not receive or store your full payment card details. Printability subscriptions and Print for Figma Teams are billed through Stripe. Print for Figma is purchased through Figma's own payment system, and those purchases are also subject to Figma's terms and payment policies.
Accurate information. When making a purchase, you represent that you are legally entitled to use the payment method you provide and that the billing information you supply is true and complete.
Subscriptions and renewal. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose) and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time through your account's billing settings or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
Price and plan changes. We may change our pricing or plan structure from time to time. Price changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for, and we will provide reasonable notice before any change applies to your renewal.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and notify you. If payment cannot be collected within a reasonable time, we may suspend or downgrade access associated with the subscription.
Order refusal. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where we suspect fraud, an unauthorized or illegal transaction, or a pricing or listing error.
5. FREE TRIALS
We may offer free trials for certain plans, such as Print for Figma Teams. Unless stated otherwise at signup:
- Trials are limited to one per organization and one per billing email address.
- A valid payment method may be required to start a trial.
- At the end of the trial period, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the trial ends.
We reserve the right to modify or withdraw trial offers, and to decline or revoke a trial where we believe the trial limits are being circumvented.
6. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
We do not offer a blanket refund policy. Refund requests for purchases made directly through us (via Stripe) are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our discretion — if something isn't working for you, contact us at support@printability.app and we will do our best to find a fair outcome.
Purchases of Print for Figma made through Figma's payment system are subject to Figma's refund policies and must be handled through Figma.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
7. YOUR CONTENT
You retain all ownership rights in the designs, files, and other content you create or process using the Services ("Customer Content"). We claim no ownership over your work.
To operate the Services, you grant us a limited license to host, transmit, and process Customer Content solely as needed to provide the features you use — for example, temporarily storing an exported PDF to perform CMYK conversion. Files uploaded for cloud processing are encrypted at rest and automatically deleted within 24 hours, as described in our Privacy Policy. Exports that do not require cloud processing are handled entirely within Figma and never reach our servers.
You are responsible for your Customer Content, including ensuring that you have the necessary rights to the materials you process through the Services and that your use does not infringe the rights of any third party.
8. OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Services — including our software, plugins, website, design, text, graphics, and all related features and functionality (excluding Customer Content) — are and will remain the exclusive property of Printability and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Except for the limited license granted in Section 3, nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property rights to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent. Our name, logo, and trade dress may not be used without our prior written permission.
9. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Services in any way that violates applicable law or regulation, or that infringes the rights of others.
- Share, resell, or redistribute licenses, license keys, or seat activations in violation of Section 3.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other users' accounts or data, or the systems and networks that support the Services.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services, including by introducing malware, overloading infrastructure, or launching denial-of-service attacks.
- Use automated means (such as bots, scrapers, or crawlers) to access the Services or copy material from them without our prior written consent.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent licensing, seat, trial, or usage limits.
- Impersonate Printability, our team, or any other person or entity.
- Use the Services to transmit unsolicited advertising or promotional material, or any content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including suspending or terminating access.
10. FEEDBACK
We welcome feedback, suggestions, bug reports, and ideas about the Services ("Feedback"). By submitting Feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate it into the Services without restriction or obligation to you. Please don't include confidential or proprietary information in Feedback — we treat it as non-confidential.
11. PUBLICITY
We may identify you or your organization as a Printability customer, including by displaying your name and logo on our website and marketing materials. If you would prefer we didn't, just let us know at support@printability.app and we will remove or refrain from such use.
12. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS AND LINKS
Our Figma plugins run inside the Figma platform, and your use of Figma is governed by Figma's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the Figma platform or for changes Figma makes that affect plugin functionality.
The Services may also contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party, and we encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you use.
13. CHANGES TO THE SERVICES
We are always improving the Services and may add, change, or remove features from time to time. We may also suspend or discontinue any part of the Services, though we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of changes that materially reduce the functionality of a paid plan. We will not be liable if any part of the Services is unavailable at any time.
14. TERMINATION
You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, without prior notice, if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Services or other users. Where practical, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to remedy the issue first.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law — will survive.
15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT OUTPUT PRODUCED THROUGH THE SERVICES (INCLUDING COLOR CONVERSIONS AND PRINT-READY EXPORTS) WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THE REQUIREMENTS OF ANY PRINT PROVIDER. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING AND VERIFYING YOUR FILES BEFORE SENDING THEM TO PRINT.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PRINTABILITY AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, PRINTING OR PRODUCTION COSTS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
17. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Printability and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your Customer Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or the rights of a third party.
18. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia, Canada, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
19. WAIVER, SEVERABILITY, AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Printability regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements on the subject.
20. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and revising the "Effective Date" at the top, and where appropriate we may provide additional notice (such as by email or in-app). Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Services.
