Install & Run Print for Figma

Quickstart Print for Figma or learn how to manually save and run the plugin using the Actions menu.

Quick-run Print for Figma in a new file

Use these buttons to automatically open the plugin inside a new Figma file. Click "Save" to pin the plugin for quick access or "Run" to open the plugin.

Install Print for Figma

Print for Figma is the standard plugin for individual users — Pro billing is handled entirely through Figma's payment system. If your team shares a license purchased on printability.app, install Print for Figma TEAMS instead.

Save the plugin for quick access

Saving pins Print for Figma to your Actions menu, so you can run it any time without searching.

1. Open any Figma design file.
2. Find the floating toolbar at the bottom of the canvas.
3. Click the Actions icon — or just press ⌘+K/Ctrl+K.
4. Select the Plugins & widgets tab.
5. Search for Print for Figma and choose it from the results.
6. Click Save or press ⌘+Enter/Ctrl+Enter.

Once saved, the plugin appears right at the top of the Actions menu — no searching needed.

Run the plugin

1. Open any Figma Design or Figma Buzz file.
2. Click the Actions icon in the toolbar — or press ⌘+K/Ctrl+K.
3. Select the Plugins & widgets tab.
4. Search for Print for Figma and choose it from the results.
5. Click Run — the plugin opens right in your current file.

If you saved the plugin earlier, you can skip the search: it's listed at the top of the Actions menu under Recents.

Install Print for Figma TEAMS

Print for Figma TEAMS is the same plugin with team-based billing — your team purchases seats on printability.app and members activate with a shared license key. See Upgrade Print for Figma for how activation works.
