Check page size and bleed
The Layout subtab in the Review tab shows the print size of the frames and layers you select. For pages made by Print for Figma, it also shows the trim size and bleed. It works on every plan.
Check your pages
- Select the frames you want to check on the canvas. Shift-click to add more.
- See the size and layout of your selection in Layout.
Each row shows the layer name and its size.
Switch units
Click in, mm, or px to switch units. Every size in the list switches to the unit you pick, and you can switch as often as you like.
Check trim and bleed
A page made by Print for Figma shows trim in front of its size: the finished page size after cutting. The layer itself is larger, because it also holds the bleed and any crop marks.
Open the row of a page with bleed to see its trim size, its layer size with bleed, and its bleed. The Bleed row shows how far the artwork extends past the trim. None means the page has no bleed.
Fix a page with no bleed
Bleed is added when a page is created, so a page that shows None needs to be created again.
- Create the page again with Bleed & Crop Marks turned on.
- Select the new page. Layout shows its trim size and bleed.
More about the rows
An open layer lists its Trim size, Layer size (with bleed), and Bleed. Matches preset names the built-in preset with the same size, such as Letter. Detected from says where the trim and bleed values came from: the page as Print for Figma created it, a slice named Trimbox, the bleed guides, or just the layer's own size.
Layout lists frames, groups, sections, components, instances, rectangles, and ellipses. Text and lines are skipped.
