Paper Size Standards
ISO 216 (A and B Series)
The international standard used in most countries outside the US. A series sizes (A0 through A7) are the most common, with A4 serving as the standard document size. Each size is exactly half the area of the next larger size. B series sizes fall between A sizes and are often used for books, posters, and envelopes.
US Standard Sizes
The paper sizes used primarily in the United States and Canada. Letter (8.5 × 11 inches) is the everyday document size, Legal (8.5 × 14 inches) is used for contracts and legal forms, and Tabloid (11 × 17 inches) is used for oversized printing.
Print Products and Marketing Materials
Standard sizes for business cards, postcards, posters, flyers, brochures, envelopes, and other printed products. These vary more than paper sizes and often differ between regions.
