Common Uses

  • Tourism and hospitality promotion (hotels, resorts, attractions)
  • Visitor center and tourist office displays
  • Trade show and conference booth handouts
  • Restaurant and café menus or specials
  • Real estate property listings
  • Health and wellness service menus (spas, gyms, clinics)

Design Tips

  • The top third is critical. When displayed in a rack, only the top ~3 inches are visible. Place your headline, key image, and call to action in this zone.
  • Use 14pt card stock or heavier so the card stands upright without flopping. Thinner stock bends in the rack and looks unprofessional.
  • UV coating (gloss or matte) protects the surface from fingerprints and handling — rack cards are picked up and put back repeatedly.
  • Design for vertical orientation only. Rack cards are always displayed upright.
  • Keep text within the safety zone (0.125 in from trim on all sides).
  • Consider a tear-off section at the bottom for coupons or contact info — confirm the perforation line with your printer.
  • For more on bleed setup, see our bleed guide.
