Common Uses

  • Posters and promotional displays
  • Large wall calendars and planners
  • Diagrams, charts, and informational graphics
  • Movie posters in some markets

Design Tips

  • A2 fits standard poster frames widely available in Europe and Asia, making it a practical choice for framed prints.
  • At 300 DPI (4961 × 7016 px), file sizes are manageable for most design software. Use 300 DPI for photographic posters.
  • Good balance between visual impact and production cost — significantly cheaper to print than A1 or A0.
  • For posters viewed from more than 1 meter away, 150 DPI can produce acceptable results while halving file size.
