B Series Paper Sizes (ISO 216)
The B series is defined alongside the A series in ISO 216. B sizes fall geometrically between consecutive A sizes — each B size has an area that is the geometric mean of the corresponding A size and the next larger A size. This makes B sizes useful when A sizes are too small or too large for a particular application.
Like the A series, B sizes maintain the 1:√2 aspect ratio and each size is half the area of the next larger size.
